Working with Melanie was one of the best decisions that we made for our wedding! My husband and I are not from Texas and we planned our wedding from Pennsylvania. Melanie right away was extremely helpful with the initial planning. She took the time to have phone calls with us and answer any question that we had. When it came to a month before the wedding she completely took over and managed everything. I felt at complete ease knowing that she was coordinating. She made everything easy and effortless for us. Melanie did an awesome job during our rehearsal and wedding day. Without her, it would not have been so smooth and amazing. She came early to help decorate and make sure everything was ready to go. Again, I felt no stress the day of my wedding. If I could give Melanie 100 stars, I would!! We also used Melanie’s bar service, which was just as wonderful. Melanie and her team are incredibly professional and easy to work with. As someone who has to organize a lot of corporate events, I found communication with Melanie was very smooth and timely. She did not hesitate to explain things to me when I asked, and her process is wonderful and ideal for people who want to save money. For example, while she cannot purchase the alcohol herself for events, she has a service to purchase the alcohol for whatever headcount you give her (while of course, working together to decide what options are best for your event), pick up the alcohol/ingredients, and even get refunds for unopened products. The bartenders themselves had great energy and were very professional, and the event was a total smash. We will absolutely be using MK Bartending again in the future! – H.A.
I could not have asked for a better bartending experience. During the planning phases leading up to the event, Melanie was extremely responsive to our event vision, signature drink ideas and day-of coordination concerns. Her follow-up with impeccable and quote for services was very budget-friendly. We hired MK for bartending and day-of event assistance for entire weekend full of events. Both Jackie and Melanie were on the ball with anticipating drink needs, remembering drinks specific to individuals, anticipated drinks that were in danger of running low and even made a special grocery store and liquor store run to ensure we were taken care of, when there was a lull in activity. They also kept the space clean and orderly as meals finished and empty bottles needed to be disposed of. I didn’t have to worry if my guests were taken care of which eased my stress. I am still blown away and in awe of the service Melanie and her team provided!!!!!!! Till date, my guests are still talking about the impeccable service Melanie and her team provided. I was honestly overwhelmed (in a very good way) as I watched them the entire night. It was certainly one of the major highlights of the night as they captured EXACTLY what I wanted: Lux fine dining experience. Melanie is “the” consummate professional and brings with her a lot of experience from the hospitality industry which I appreciated. She asks questions to ensure that you get exactly what you want and then more. We had certain cultural norms which she was unaware of, she asked about them and on the day of adhered to those norms. Her motto also is that none of her team members should be standing idle and must be doing something! Which is what happened. Her servers were very professional and worked the crowd seamlessly and never in the way and always present at the right time. Great attitude and I loved that their body language read “happy to be here!” Her team we nicknamed the “A” team!:) The caterer was all praises for her team members as the caterer said they were humble, willing to assist in any way possible and were a great asset on that day. At the end of the night, I saw Melanie doing a debrief with the team, doling out instructions on what should be done. Melanie, on behalf of my family, I extend our heartfelt thanks and sincere gratitude for treating our event with significance and importance as it meant a lot to us. You stuck with us despite several date changes due to covid. I can CONFIDENTLY say we’ll be using your services pretty soon and for anything else we need. Thanks for being a blessing! We hired MK Bartending for our wedding and by far, they were one of the best vendors we hired. Melanie, the owner is FANTASTIC and was such a pleasure. She worked with us before our wedding to make sure every last detail was taken care of; (e.g., quantities of alcohol to buy, supplies we may need) and everything went off without a hitch. She took great care in ensuring a smooth transaction, and it’s clear that she loves her job and that providing a quality and enjoyable service is her main priority. Her staff is great as well. The service we received from Melanie was astounding. I can’t say enough about how great she was. Her personality is fun and she gelled with the guests in a natural way. She went above and beyond the call of duty. She was great serving the drinks we provided, brought the serving tools, coolers, and even brought us the ice. Melanie also made sure we had all the garnishments we needed for the drinks. When she had time to spare she was helping the guests clean up and take care of trash.
