Additional Details for Booking with MK Bartending and Event Services:

  • Each event is unique and rates will vary from event to event. We have very competitive prices and will work with the event host whenever possible to stay within budget. Contact us for a free quote!
  • A 20% non-refundable deposit and signed Service Contract are required to secure all event dates.
  • One hour of complimentary Event Service Consultation/Coordination is included with all events. After that, the Client may be charged by the hour for any kind of consultation and/or coordination. We’ve comprised a list of resources attached to our Service Contract that may help with your alcohol planning.
  • By law, the Client must purchase all liquor, beer, wine, and champagne.
  • More than one bar location will require additional time, equipment and a minimum number of staff. This will vary depending on your unique needs for service.
  • We do not pick up and transport or move kegs once on site. We do not have keg shells, cans, taps, or any other keg service equipment other than a limited number of pitchers.
  • We do not charge extra for Signature/Specialty Cocktails!
  • We supply a complimentary custom, print in frame menu for the bar top ONLY IF the event’s alcohol list is provided by email no less than one week prior to the event. It is the Client’s responsibility to provide this list in a timely manner and not that of MK Bartending to obtain.
  • For all Bartending Services, your estimate will be based on your estimated drinking adults over 21. Final guest counts are required one week prior to the event.
  • Wine and beer service requires one bartender per 70-80 guests depending on equipment needed. Full bar service including liquor/mixed drinks are a max of 55-70 guests (over 21) per bartender depending on equipment and the needs of the Client.
  • A minimum of one hour of setup before the start of alcohol service and one hour of breakdown after the stop of alcohol service is required for all events.
  • No straight shots, neat cocktails, straight-up cocktails or cocktails with more than 2oz of liquor will be served. All cocktails must have at least one half an ounce of a mixer.
  • We carry a one (1) Million-Dollar Limited Liability and General Liability insurance Policy to cover staff incidentals. If individuals other than MK Bartending and Event Services’ TABC Certified Staff are found to be serving themselves or others alcohol, or if alcohol service continues after MK Bartending Staff has vacated the event, the insurance policy will be nullified, and MK Bartending and Event Services and its’ Staff will not be liable.
  • We serve all of the Austin and surrounding areas, and further! Travel time will be applied to events further than 20 miles outside of the 78610 zip code.
